In this talk I will discuss some possible UV implications of the hints for deviations from the Standard Model observed in B-meson decays and in the muon magnetic moment. After an introduction on the anomalies, I will present possible models that can address one or more of these experimental deviations, while being consistent with other low-energy and collider constraints.
