Sesimbra
Sesimbra is a village in the pensinsula of Setúbal, 32 km just south of Lisbon (++). From Lisbon, at Praça de Espanha (which is also an underground-Metro stop), there is a bus going to Sesimbra. Praça de Espanha is a big square and the bus-stop is situated on its Western side. Please consult the time table of the bus going to Sesimbra: bus 207 of bus company TST.
From the airport to Praça de Espanha in Lisbon, you can either take a taxi
(and expect to pay around 15 euros) or the bus + the Metro.
To go by bus, at the
airport you can take bus 745, bus 83, or the special tourist Aerobus** to
bus-stop Marquês de Pombal and then take the Metro to Praça de Espanha. Consult the
Lisbon city bus company and/or the Metro. If you plan to
catch a taxi at the airport, catch one at the departures, instead of at the arrivals. Taxi drivers in Lisbon are honest, but at the
airport arrivals, it pays to be cautious.
The Metro has vending machines: ticket around 1.20 Euro. To ride the busses, you buy a ticket from the driver: normal busses inside Lisbon 1.40 Euro, special tourist Aerobus around 4 Euros. Be sure to have small change and coins with you.
